Q: Who comes to my house?
A: I do. I'll arrive in my clearly marked 1967 Ford truck and ready to work.
Q: How do you charge?
A: I charge by the hour. This way, you only pay for the time I actually work. The clock starts when I arrive at the job site, and it ends when I load up my tools and get ready to leave. For more specifics, see my schedule of pricing.
Q: Can I get an estimate?
A: Yes. You can always get a free estimate. I can usually estimate your work over the phone. If you have a larger job, then we’ll set a time of day for me to come out and take a look.
Q: Can you pick-up materials?
A: Yes, but customers must either pre-pay for the items or supply me with a gift card or enough cash to pay for the purchase. You will receive a register receipt for said purchase along with your change. There is no extra charge or mark-up for this service, but shopping is considered on-the-clock.
Q: Do you offer a guarantee of your work?
A: Yes. Here are the details.
Q: What kind of payment do you accept?
A: We accept all major credit cards (you may pay here), cash, check, and PayPal.
Q: What’s a handy helper?
A: It’s another way for you to save money! You, the customer, are a handy helper. By giving me a helping hand during the time that I'm working at your house, this usually allows me to finish the job sooner, saving you money!
Q: What if I can’t be a handy helper?
A: If the job is large enough to require a helper, I can obtain one for an additional $17/hour.
Q: Are you going to leave my home a wreck?
A: I will make all reasonable efforts to not leave a tornado in my wake. However, getting rid of all job waste is the responsibility of the customer.
Q: What happens if the job exceeds the scheduled time?
A: The job will be rescheduled at my next earliest opening. You can always check my website for an up-to-date schedule of my availability.
Q: What if I don’t pay for the work you did for me?
A: Big Tony's gonna pay you a visit. kansas city © 2007 Chris Ranck and Handyman for Rent | Designed by Aimee Eckhardt
